Dr. Simmons joined us in 2000 for the practice of Obstetrics and
Gynecology and is board certified by The American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecology. She graduated from Duke University before attending
medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She then
completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University
of Alabama at Birmingham, having been chosen to serve as the
administrative chief resident. She now serves as the obstetrics
physician leader at Asheville Women's Medical Center.
